At Strategy of Things, we are committed to becoming an AI-native company. That means applying AI across our own operations, services, and workflows. Not as an experiment, but as a strategic investment in how we run and grow our business.
We call this initiative to invest in and transform ourselves SoT AI.
It’s our ongoing effort to use AI inside our company to improve the way we think, work, operate and deliver services. As we build and operationalize these capabilities, we learn what works, what doesn’t, and what it takes to use AI reliably. We'll bring these hands-on learnings directly into our CAIO-as-a-Service offerings.
Why we’re becoming AI-native
AI has disrupted our business. In order to remain relevant to our clients and sustain ourselves as a business, we must integrate AI into all aspects of our operations.
As an AI-native business, we will:
- Collaborate with AI to be more productive, innovative and responsive with the people that we have
- Keep up with and make sense of the rapidly changing developments in AI to serve our clients better
- Make sense of extremely large volumes of data and information to plan more effectively and make better decisions
- Deliver our services faster, more efficiently and effectively, and in new ways to our clients
- Consistently operate at very high levels of quality, performance and trust
SoT AI is a strategic and deliberate transformation of our business that will ultimately allow us to serve our clients better and more effectively.
Initial priorities of SoT AI
SoT AI will initially focus on four strategic but practical capabilities that directly improve our business in the near term:
- SoT Company GPT. A secure internal AI trained on our research, frameworks, tools, methodologies, and experiences and knowledge. It serves as a knowledge base and co-pilot to support our advisory work, analysis, planning, and delivery across all client engagements.
- Research and insights automation. Knowledge is core to our business and the value we provide. We monitor and collect practitioner learnings, industry changes, emerging tools, and new AI patterns on a weekly basis, and put that information back into our work immediately.
- Agent-based “digital workers”. We are developing and testing agentic AI to automate research, content assembly, workflows, and operational tasks — giving us hands-on experience with the technologies our clients are exploring.
- AI-integrated workflows. We are redesigning core processes to embed AI directly into how we run projects, communicate, plan, and operate our business.
We are deliberate and prioritize capabilities that create meaningful, long-term value, not experimentation for its own sake.
What SoT AI means to our clients

- Experience and knowledge relevant to you. We’re building AI into our own operations, just like you’re trying to do in yours. That shared reality makes our guidance more practical, more grounded, and easier to trust. We recommend only what we’ve tested internally and know works in practice.
- Faster learning and better decisions. Our clients get the benefit of our continuous learning loop. By confronting AI adoption challenges ourselves, we help our clients avoid risks, dead-ends, and wasted investment.
- Improved frameworks and methods. The technologies, methods, and patterns we develop internally eventually flow to our clients, similar to how Formula One innovations eventually reach everyday cars. Everything we learn internally becomes part of the models, assessments, and processes we use in our CAIO-as-a-Service offerings.
- Reduced client risk. When we encounter accuracy issues, workflow conflicts, or reliability challenges internally, we develop solutions before clients face the same obstacles. If we recommend it to clients, we’ve tested it internally first.
- Doing, not advising. We aren’t advising from the sidelines. We’re building AI into our own business just like our clients are. That alignment makes us a better guide.
